LGBTQ Heritage started on Twitter sharing heritage, history, icons and current affairs. The call to expand this to a blog was almost instantaneous as our following exploded to achieving more than 1000 new followers per month.

After our founder, Tim, solicited a few other people to become contributing writers, The LGBTQ Heritage Blog was born. There are plans for further expansion in to a full website soon with an eCommerce sections for LGBTQ owned business, and also a non-profit aimed at raising funds for educational scholarships for LGBTQ youth who have been disowned by their families.
